Church of Burn’s Creation Diary
This is worth subscribing to. Written by Iron Man Records Patron and Master of Ceremonies, Jonathan Harris. It’s A diary…..dedicated to the Ritual Sacrifice of money.
What is Church of Burn?
From the first Mass Burn in 2015, through annual events at The Cockpit, London, to The Secret Garden Party in 2022, CoB delivers a radical, immersive and transcendent experience.
We’re not affiliated with any Religion. We don’t own a pointy building. We’re a Church in the truest sense of the word; a gathering instituted by and assembled around a Sacred Act of Ritual Sacrifice.
Our Church’s mission is to change money by changing our relationship to money. We believe humankind’s most intractable problems are rooted in this dysfunctional relationship.

Money only exists in the material world because it first exists in our heads. We are the wellspring of every penny.
We must understand that a change in our relationship to money will not come from rational argument or intellect alone. Nor will not come from shoring up moral and legal strictures around money’s use.
Deep change requires embodied transformation. We must act ourselves into a new way of thinking rather than think ourselves into a new way of acting.
This is what Charlie Waterhouse (Extinction Rebellion, Brixton Pound) says about us;
“Church of Burn is a portal into a glorious world we’re not supposed to see. Where money’s power is revoked, reclaimed and reassigned. A sacrificial rite that rewrites our failing modern world. For once one has burnt money, what else is possible? ”

Life In A Blender
While there still may be a drop of time left on the Doomsday Clock, we encourage you to make a final act of humanity and decency, and buy the 10th album by Life in a Blender—“Bent by the Weather.”
Because no matter how many times you try to run away from us, we find you, and we sit right on your head, like it or not.
Like a good spanking, our latest album teaches you the hard way that life’s not all peacocks and peppermints. When the hammer comes pounding down on your face repeatedly, you got to look at it straight on, smiling, and cough up some of that long-dormant grit that you thought had gone on permanent sabbatical in your nay-nay.
Marshall’s Coffee Shop and Bar
If you happen to be in or around Birmingham, I've found a great place called Marshall’s Coffee Shop and Bar, Unit 4, 6/8 Yardley Road, Acocks Green, Birmingham, West Midlands. It’s right next to Acocks Green Train Station. It’s great. Good coffee, food, free WiFi too. Try it out if you happen to be passing by.

Mark Sampson - Acoustic Guitar, additional Vocals
After a remarkable hiatus of 23 years, Freestone, an enchanting acoustic duo, are making a triumphant return with all new material and a few old favourites, to captivate audiences with heartfelt lyrics and intricate melodies.
Anthony takes centre stage as the lead vocalist, a master of acoustic guitar, harmonica, banjo and mandolin, and brings his natural talent for crafting infectious melodies infused with a touch of magic.
Mark, the second half of this acoustic duo, adds depth and harmony with acoustic guitar and additional vocals.
Freestone's live shows are an intimate and soul-stirring experience. Their songs delve into the depths of the human experience, offering hope and a sense of connection in a world that often feels fragmented and dysfunctional.
Beyond their musical pursuits, both Anthony and Mark possess a humble and down-to-earth nature, always appreciative of the unwavering support they receive. They firmly believe in the healing power of music, its ability to unite people, and its capacity to inspire despite the impossible odds.
The music of Freestone seeks to remind audiences of the power of genuine expression and the beauty of a simple musical connection at any level.
